About Professor Albani
Professor Salvatore Albani is an internationally recognised physician-scientist and innovation leader dedicated to understanding and modulating the human immune system to tangibly improve health.
As Founder and Director of the Translational Immunology Institute at Singapore Health Services and Duke-NUS Medical School, he pioneered the integration of artificial intelligence with immunology to extract clinically actionable insights from high-complexity biological data. His work has led to validated predictive models and the identification of novel immune therapeutic targets now advancing toward clinical application.
With an H-index of 61 and recognition among the top 1% of immunologists worldwide (Scopus), Professor Albani’s research is published in leading international journals and has attracted over USD 55 million in competitive funding across Singapore, the United States, and Europe.
