About Professor Compton
Scott Compton, PhD, is Professor and Senior Associate Dean for Medical Education at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore where he leads work in educational evaluation, faculty development, and medical education research.
His work spans education analytics, precision education, and medical and translational research training. He leads a funded research programme that uses AI and advanced analytics to bring together evidence about individual learners, develop deeper insights into how they learn, and design personalised educational support. He also leads efforts to prepare future physicians to exercise sound judgment in an AI-enabled world—as interpreters, producers, and stewards of evidence.
Professor Compton co-created the Master of International Translational Medicine and serves as its Program Director at Duke-NUS. His work with Eureka reflects a broader interest in how education can help people move scientific discoveries toward meaningful improvements in health..
